Fringe

I found a cool DIY project online and decided to try it.
I took an old grey T-shirt and embellished the shoulders.
I made fringes out of a turquoise jersey knit fabric.

I cut different lengths of fringe and sewed it through tiny holes I punched through the shoulders.

Enjoy=)

Flower Child

Today was beautiful and breezy. Cold enough for a sweater and boots but sunny enough for a skirt. A perfect combination.

WHY THIS WORKS:
I tied this outfit together with a tan braided belt and cinched my sweater over a floral top.
The brown slouch boots match perfectly with the belt. This floral top adds color and print to a neutral outfit. Ruffled tops also add something extra to a basic outfit.

TIP:
If you are a casual dresser and  want to try something different,
Start with an open sweater or cardigan and tie any thin belt around it. Bright colored ones are an easy way to add a statement if you don't know how.
Or you can go basic with a brown one like I did.

Bohemian Beauty

I was in a helpless search for a maxi skirt long enough for my never ending legs.
I decided I would just make one myself.

I found an old maxi dress that was getting too short for me so I cut it and sewed in a waistband.

Now I can wear the skirt and top separate or together.

For a more coverage I wore the skirt with a white tank top and my jacket.

The Rare Blue Cheetah

I absolutely love my new cheetah wedges!
I wanted this style shoe for a while and decided to go for a bold blue cheetah print.
My shoes are mostly neutral so this purchase was to add something fun to my shoe collection.

Super comfortable and chunky, I love it!

I paired my bold wedges with a basic black dress shirt and some cut off jeans.
Casual and Fashionable.

Barbie

I bought my first lipstick ever!

I wanted to try something bold.

I went for a barbie hot pink.

Bold lipstick can count as an accessories for a neutral outfit.

I want to buy more bold colors and experiment!
