Change of Seasons

It got super cold for Florida weather this week. I decided to be comfortable a few days ago by wearing grey leggings, black tunic, grey sweater tied with a sudded belt.

A tip for leggings: If you are going to wear them as pants, make sure the shirt covers at least the upper thigh area and butt. Layering is also a good way to wear leggings.

Chocolate Festival

This Sunday was the chocolate festival at Aventura mall here in Miami. Students from our school made garments out of chocolate and wrappers. I participated and here is the skirt and corset I made. I didn't win any of the places but it was on display at the mall.

I made a corset with a peplum skirt. Covered the bust in hershey kisses.

I made two of the panels out of a hershey kiss package.

The skirt is covered in hershey kiss foil with a red zipper in front.

Gypsy

Casual day. Wearing warm beige hues. Dangle earrings for some bling.

I love my crazy big gypsy earrings with a basic outfit.

I am wearing my faux tan ostrich skin bag.

along with animal prints and faux fur, a big trend this season is leather treated and textured to resemble skins. 

Charlotte russe tan sued flats

Fall.

Today I felt like dressing for fall,

Even though the weather is still hot.

 I wore an army green pencil skirt with a black shirt, and layered it with a grey cardigan.

I tied it together with a thin black studded belt and added my army green boots.

Layering is not a suprise trend for fall but its being featured on the runways and streets.

Layering in new ways is what its all about. Try layering cardigans, sweaters, or jackets over unexpected peices.

You might just like it.

Tiny Dancer

I know im really late with posting.

These are some photos of an outfit I wore for a presentation.

I wanted to be professional but still cute and girly.

I added a pink top to break up the black, pink ballet flats, and a small bib necklace.

The necklace is chunky flowers.

Sorry about the bad quality.

And my mirror is dirty.

And of course for my presentation I switched to my heels=)

Tikki

I have been wanting some printed pants like this for a while.

So when I found these island printed, silk pants at Good-Will I had to get them.

I sewed in  an elastic band at the ankles so they would be more fitted and a straight leg look.

Well they were 4 dollars so either way it was a fun project.
