Happy Holidays
Christmas Eve I saw the Ice sculptures at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando.
I finally had a chance to wear my new faux fur vest since the exhibit is freezing!
Hope you all had a great Holiday weekend.

Michael Della Penna Photoshoot
Earlier this year I did a small photo shoot with local designer Michael Della Penna.
The shoot was for his new collection of t-shirts featuring original art work.
They are finally up on

Wild World
After my four and a half hour drive from Miami last night, I finally made it home for the holidays. Today I went to run errands with my mom and later we will go look at Christmas lights.
Its not very cold here so this outfit is perfect for a winter look without feeling too hot.
Boots and my cheetah scarf add a holiday touch.
Wearing a scarf with boots is a great way to enjoy winter clothing without overheating.

In the Bag
I made this bag for an extra credit project in my construction class. I made it in one day, it was fairly simple and fun to make. I used a cotton printed fabric for the body and red cotton for the straps.
This bag is meant to fit most of my supplies such as fabrics, threads, scissors, textbooks.

Maximize your wardrobe
Over my Thanksgiving weekend my family took a trip to the beach.
Fall weather was rolling in so we went just to walk around and eat by the water.
I styled my sister by using her old maxi dress as a skirt. I then paired it with a bright pink tank top tucked into the skirt and threw a jean jacket over it.
Using your maxi dress as a skirt is a great way to get more out of your wardrobe.
To make this outfit interesting I paired a printed skirt with a solid bright top. |
The jacket breaks up the bright color and print so it is not overwhelming. |
Adding a small neutral bag is a great accessory that does not overpower the print or bold colored top. |
Thanks to my sister Jordan for being a part of this post! |

Glitter
Hey guys!
Quick update. I recently did a small modeling session for make up artist, Fred Vellon and online magazine, Refinery29.com. I had so much fun! The online magazine is based in New York but it will be launching in Miami very soon. Fred Vellon was a pleasure to work with and his work is amazing.
I was used as a model to show a make up tutorial on how to use glitter in a sophisticated look. I was given a bold red lip with red glitter. The tutorial will be up in time for the holidays.
I will post pictures as soon as I receive them!

Oscar de la Renta
Last night I had the pleasure of working at an Oscar de la Renta fashion show and Gala event, which raised money for Project New Born. (The organization cares for infants with sever illnesses.) I worked backstage dressing models.
The night started off with a silent auction and ended with the fashion show.
The guests viewed Oscar de la Renta's Resort 2012 collection. The collection was beautiful and Spanish inspired.
Here are some photos from the actual Oscar de la Renta show:
*Note these are not my photos and these are not from the Gala event*
