Dali

I am a huge fan of Salvador Dali as an artist and as a person.
I fell in love with his story and his art years ago.

I took a classic photo of him and printed it onto transfer paper.
I then  ironed it onto a canvas bag.
Added braided straps.
And embellished it with two flowers similar to the ones in the photo.

Enjoy.

Field of Dandelions

I had so much fun making this bag for a school assignment.
It is easy enough for anyone to make.

1.I carved my own design from a linoleum block, which you can buy at craft stores

2. I dyed a canvas bag with hot pink fabric dye

3. I dipped my carved linoleum block in fabric paint like a stamp, and stamped the bag where I wanted

4. I used a hair dryer to steam the newly stamped designs to set them into the bag.

5. I let everything dry and now I have a unique bag that fits just about anything!

What's special about making this bag is everything is unique and original,
Original design on stamp
Hand carved block
Hand dyed Bag

And I love the vintage look of the black ink.
