I was in a helpless search for a maxi skirt long enough for my never ending legs.
I decided I would just make one myself.
I found an old maxi dress that was getting too short for me so I cut it and sewed in a waistband.
Now I can wear the skirt and top separate or together.
For a more coverage I wore the skirt with a white tank top and my jacket.

Mackenzie, this is a great outfit. I guess what I love most about this look is its belly dancer-like style as you worked this maxi dress from a maxi dress to a top and skirt. It's Bohemian meets belly dancer, and it's a lovely look! The denim jean jacket is a nice touch to keep things really casual. I'd have to imagine some ballet flats or sandals would be the best shoes to complete the look. Another great look, Mackenzie! Well done.

super cute! You'd never know that used to be a dress! And I'm sure you'll get plenty of use of this now.
